about this blog
Hi, I’m Sera — it’s so nice to meet you ❤️
This blog has been a dream of mine since I was a teenager, and I’ve finally bitten the bullet to bring it to life. There’s nothing I love more than chasing new experiences, seeing new places, and capturing memories through photos. I’ll admit, I’ve lived much of my life guided by a deep sense of FOMO — for better or worse. But it’s that very pull that keeps me saying yes to adventures, soaking in the thrill of discovering somewhere new, and returning home with a full heart and stories to tell.
At the same time, I know firsthand how stressful planning a trip can be. You start digging through Google Maps, travel blogs, TikToks, YouTube, Pinterest — just trying to piece together where to go, where to stay, and how to get around. Understanding the geography of a place, figuring out the most efficient way to move through it, navigating public transportation… it’s a lot. But I’m a firm believer in intentionality, so I can’t imagine showing up somewhere with zero idea of what I want to see or do — especially if I’ve traveled far to get there.
Full disclosure: I’m definitely a type A traveler. I don’t like sitting still, especially when I’m overseas. My itineraries are often packed to the brim, fueled by that “when will I ever be back here again?” mindset. It means I usually end my days exhausted, nearly non-verbal, but happy. If you prefer a slower pace, feel free to stretch my itineraries out over more days (or even weeks, if you have the luxury of time).
This blog is, first and foremost, a place for me to look back and remember the incredible things I’ve seen — to relive the small details of what I noticed, how places felt, and how I felt. But it’s also for you. I want it to feel like a friend sharing travel stories and tips over a hot cappuccino in a café. The itineraries here aren’t exhaustive, but they’re here for those moments when you don’t want to overthink and just want someone else to do the planning for you. After all, isn’t traveling about stressing less?
So read away, enjoy my musings, and I hope you find my travel tips helpful. ❤️
